PLAY PARTNER! The Fun-Raiser Urban Mobile Playground is a 'by kids, for kids' initiative. The Fun-Raiser Urban Mobile Playground was the ideas of some East Wheeling children who were faced with the reality of having not having a safe place to play or a family budget that could afford outdoor toys. They came up with the idea of a truck stocked full of fun toys, that would have free Play Stops, and be overseen by area youth. The kids formed a board and with the help of HoH-Share inc., they hit the road -playing! The Fun-Raiser Urban Mobile Playground creates safe play opportunities for well over 2000 kids a year!
With the help of Play Partners like you, The youth of the "Never Bored Board" keep the truck stocked with toys and fun to create trauma informed, safe play stops in at-risk neighborhoods, schools and community events. The Never Bored Board insist that these stops always be free, so that that finances are never a barrier to a child being able to play. Your donation will help keep The Fun-Raiser UMP stocked with bubbles, creativity items from art supplies, STEM toys to dress up, and active toys like bouncer balls to Pogo sticks..and mostly LOTS OF SMILES. Thank you for helping us make spaces for kids where their only job is to be one!
